I believe every woman has the freedom and choice to shape her own life, regardless of the challenges she faces. My background in Biology and neuroscience gives me a strong foundation to approach therapy with both a scientific and compassionate perspective, blending evidence-based practices with heartfelt care. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling and am committed to lifelong learning to continually improve my work supporting women’s mental health and emotional wellness.

Along my journey, I have faced personal challenges, including the loss of my parents, divorce, chronic pain, and infertility, experiences that deepened my understanding of both hopelessness and hope. Unable to have biological children, I adopted a son from Guatemala, a transformative experience that shapes how I approach healing, resilience, and family dynamics in my practice.

I specialize in women’s therapy, supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, infertility struggles, grief, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. Using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR Therapy, and Mindfulness Practices I tailor sessions to each client’s unique needs, helping women uncover strength, build resilience, and create lasting change.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga and meditation, and staying grounded in life’s beauty even through challenges. My mission is to help women find their inner strength, navigate life’s obstacles, and cultivate emotional wellness. I work alongside an incredible team of mental health professionals in Swansea, Illinois, and I would love to support you on your journey toward healing and empowerment.
