Compassionate Care for Every Step of Her Journey
About Me
Welcome! I'm so glad you've found your way here.
I believe that each of us has the responsibility, freedom, and choice to shape our own lives, no matter what challenges we face. My background in Biology provides me with a solid understanding of neuroscience, which helps me approach therapy with both a scientific and compassionate perspective. I also have a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling, and I’m passionate about continually learning and growing in my practice.
Along my journey, I’ve faced my own struggles, including the loss of my parents far too soon, divorce, chronic pain, infertility which deepened my understanding of both hopelessness and hope. I couldn’t have biological children, so I adopted a son from Guatemala, an experience that has further shaped my approach to healing and resilience.
In addition to my work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I practice yoga and meditation, which help me stay grounded and connected. I believe in the beauty of life, even when it feels broken, and I’m here to help women find their strength, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change. I work with an amazing team of colleagues in Swansea, Illinois, and I would love to support you as you walk your own path toward healing.
